Understand your GAS System alarm, so you can diagnose problems easier. All GAS units are equipped with an Over-run warning alarm to alert the user of problems of high use or waste of gas, or the malfunction of the nitrogen separator. The warning alarm will sound when the unit has run continuously for more than the preset 4 hour limit.
Over-run alarms are a great way to stop an outage of CO2 or of draught beer service. Generally, over-run alarms mean no emergency visit for repair or delivery will need to happen!Warning! This alarm may indicate a dangerous concentration of gas in an enclosed space.
Proceed with caution and understand the risks of suffocation/asphyxiation. For more information refer to your CO2 supplier’s Material Safety Data Sheets.

The touchscreen has red lights but a dark display:The back light has turned off automatically to conserve power. Tap the screen to wake up.
The touchscreen is dark and wont respond to my tap:Separator is turned off, unplugged, or has a tripped circuit breaker. Reset the power switch from off to the on position to reset circuit breaker. If there is still no response from the touch screen, call your equipment supplier.
I had the circuit breaker trip more than once:Possible causes are brown out power problems, lack of maintenance or separator malfunction. Contact your equipment supplier
The Separator turns on and off over and over:That is the nature of PSA technology. This is the normal operation during times of beverage service only. When no beverage service is required the separator should not continually cycle.
The beer is not pouring:Be sure output ports (“Carb Blend” and “Nitro Blend”) are in the on position and both “CO2 Input” and “Nitrogen Pressure” gauges read above 80 psi. If correct there is sufficient outgoing pressure. Check for gas flow interruptions between the separator and beverage system. I.e. the secondary regulator is turned off. Call the equipment supplier for additional help as needed.
